For the last fifteen years River has undertaken a personal study of many spiritual disciplines and healing methods, including meditation, Buddhism, Martial Arts and Energetic Healing and Sacred Sexual Healing.
River has been practicing neo-tantra (as taught in the West) for the past 8 years and has done trainings with several of the leading U.S. tantra schools, both in groups and as individual sessions. He trained in Sacred Sexual Healing with one of the leading practitioners in this field, Baba Dez, founder of the Sedona Temple.
In his ongoing quest for knowledge River has embraced tantra and has studied with Olivia for the last 4 years. There is much he has learned from the teachers and women in his life and has the innate sense of what a woman desires. He has the ability to put people at ease with his dynamic personality.

Rivers work in sexual healing is colored by all aspects of his experience and training. He is based and offers mobile sessions in Vancouver and his studio in North Vancouver.
This healing work is dedicated to the great goddess Kali, who is the embodiment of feminine creative energy in all its aspects, not just the image of feminine fierceness that is commonly known in the West.
River offers individual sexuality and consciousness self-healing sessions using a variety of techniques to increase personal empowerment.
I hold a loving, sacred space for celebrating the divine feminine and masculine energies inside us; the sessions are guided in sacred intention and offered with the love that allow these energies to manifest.
In Canada, we have an abundance of ‘sexual services’, mostly for men, however, very few people practice with the intention or training to assist people to deeply heal their relationships with themselves and others (including their sexual aspects) in a spiritually-oriented way. Much less are there male guides or helpers for women, and a model of healthy masculinity is crucially lacking in many people’s lives.
A session may contain a combination of a ritual invocation, intention-setting, boundary work, Yoga and Tantric techniques for physical embodiment and including transformational breathing, Shamanic energy and emotional release processes, voice dialogue (aspecting), gentle holding, recapitulation, bodywork including the Kashmiri Tantra Shiva-Shakti body massage, and experiential exercises and meditations to assist you in awakening and embodying the divine masculine and feminine , and assisting the healing of sexual wounding and unnecessary ongoing pain. The intention is generally to move into states of resolution, being at peace, and bliss.
The core values underlying the therapeutic sessions relate to invoking and honoring the Divine Feminine. Particularly these are: ‘holding the space’ in which transformation might occur, creating an environment of absolute safety and unconditional love, and witnessing without judgment. Many if not all women and men have been hurt by men: emotional, physically and sexually, so why trust a man to help heal those wounds?
It could be that some wounds created by men can only best be healed by men, sitting in fully-focused presence with a clear, shared intention to heal and evolve.
In every session you will be encouraged to keep reclaiming your power, learning to say no, to define your own boundaries using processes that connect you with what is right for you in the moment, so that you be able to clearly define and state your boundaries and know that they will always be respected.
Whatever feelings and expressions may (often unexpectedly) arise in the course of your session – anger, grief, rage, frustration, pain – can be fully released in an environment where this is encouraged, allowed and not taken personally. This allows the healing of old wounds whether they might be as dramatic as sexual abuse, or simply a father or a mother who were overly-controlling, physically or emotionally absent – or any other circumstance that wounded us.
To be acknowledged and affirmed by a man or woman (Daka or Dakini) who has no agenda of their own can be healing beyond words, as eventually emotions are released that allow deeper, free-flowing access to our natural state of joy.
